What is the difference between PU and epoxy injection?

Polyurethane resins react with water and expand, so they are used to stop active leaks and seal moving or wet cracks. Epoxy resins are rigid and structural, used on dry, stable cracks where the aim is to bond the concrete back together rather than just stop water.

Can a leaking basement be sealed from the inside?

Yes, in most cases. Injection works from the accessible face, so leaks in basements, tanks, tunnels and lift pits can be treated internally without excavating the outside of the structure.

How do you find where the water is entering?

Water often travels far from the visible damp patch. The entry point is traced on site by following construction joints, cracks and penetrations, checking water levels and testing the suspected path before any injection begins.

Is injection permanent?

A correctly executed injection seals the treated path permanently, but a structure that keeps moving or has ongoing water pressure may need joint or curtain treatment as well; that is decided from the survey.
