PU or epoxy? The decision in one paragraph
If water is moving through the crack, the answer is polyurethane: it reacts with moisture, expands to fill the void, stops the flow and stays flexible as the structure moves. If the crack is dry, dormant and structural, the answer is epoxy: it is rigid, bonds the faces and restores the section to monolithic strength. Choosing epoxy on a wet or live crack is the single most common failure we are called back to fix. Getting that decision right requires a survey — crack width, movement, moisture and cause — before a single port is drilled.
